Set email read state
Mark a single message read or unread (IMAP \Seen) in a connected mailbox
What this step does
On the canvas this step appears as its own node with handles you wire to neighbours. Mark a single message read or unread (IMAP \Seen) in a connected mailbox Open the step sheet to change labels, descriptions, and family-specific fields. See the Email article for how this template sits beside related steps.
Execution tab
Email steps pick a saved mailbox integration on Execution. Search email uses a query and optional IMAP filters; Send email sets recipients, subject, body (plain or HTML), public attachment URLs, and whether to send via SMTP or save a draft over IMAP. Get email message, Set email read state, Delete email message, and Move email message act on a single message by IMAP UID (optional folder path override). Connect mailboxes under Settings → Integrations first (send requires SMTP to be enabled on the integration). Search filters can use date and time expression tokens for received-since / before boundaries. See Execution settings for how that tab differs from Output.
Output tab
Use Output to map keys from {{exe.*}}, literals, or other tags into the JSON payload forwarded to the next step. See Expression variables for namespaces and resolution order.
